THE WHOLE
Part of Daventry Miniature Race Cars, Miniature World was looking to differentiate itself from the racing car tracks and showcase its offering as a stand-alone entertainment venue for both adults and children with an interest in Lego brick buildings, scale model railways and dioramas.
Kate designed a brand new logo to establish Miniature World as a venue suitable for individuals, parties, corporate and children's events which incorporated aspects of the original DMRC logo, yet was distinct and individual.
The logo needed to use the DMRC font and colours, and the client wanted negative space or hidden initials of the MW. Look at the shape of the mountains and the castle.
Once these aspects were complete, along with a photoshoot of the venue - expertly handled by Wildgoose Photographics, Nikki designed the brand new website to showcase all aspects of the venue, and provide an online booking engine for sessions and family group visits to be booked, confirmed and paid online.
From the get-go Nikki was extremely efficient and prompt in coming to visit us to gauge our initial needs and thereafter in meeting goals and timescales, with quick replies to any queries and fast action on any changes we required.
Kate met our logo design and interactive map designs head on and with enthusiasm.
Both ladies presented ideas to us with keenness and warmth that made us feel we were important to them as a client.
Cannot fault their approach and definitely recommend them for site building to anyone who knows their business matters and want a designer to feel the same..
